Vrindavan’s First Old Age Home for Sadhus – Opening This Janmashtami by Homeless Care Foundation

In the sacred city of Vrindavan, thousands of sadhus walk the path of renunciation, leaving behind family, wealth, and comfort to dedicate their lives to Bhagwan Krishna. They live simply, chant constantly, and survive only on bhiksha and divine faith.

But behind the chants and orange robes are tired eyes, weak bodies, and stories of solitude.

This Janmashtami 2025, Homeless Care Foundation is taking a divine step forward — launching Vrindavan’s First Old Age Home for Sadhus, a place where our spiritual guardians can finally rest in peace, devotion, and dignity.

A Home of Devotion, Not Just Shelter

For many aged and ailing sadhus in Vrindavan, life on the streets means:

• No roof over their heads during scorching summers or bitter winters

• No access to regular meals or clean water

• No medical care, despite age-related ailments

• No one to care, listen, or serve

The Old Age Home for Sadhus is our offering of gratitude to these noble souls.

Here, they will receive:

• 🛏️ Clean, peaceful living space in a spiritual setting

• 🍲 Nutritious sattvic meals and chai, served with respect

• 🩺 Free medical checkups, ayurvedic care & emergency support

• 🎶 Daily bhajans, satsangs, and spiritual routines

• 🌸 Most importantly — a family that honors their sacrifice
