Rahul: A True Hero

Rahul, a selfless and caring person, saw this suffering and decided to act. He left his govt. job to start feeding these homeless individuals. Rahul began with a simple idea: to provide food to those who have no one to take care. His initiative grew into the Homeless Care Foundation, dedicated to serving the homeless on Delhi’s streets.

The Harsh Reality of Delhi’s Homeless

In the bustling streets of Delhi, amidst the grandeur of the city, lies a harsh and often overlooked reality. Thousands of homeless individuals, many of whom are mentally disabled and abandoned, struggle daily for survival. These vulnerable souls have been left to fend for themselves, facing extreme weather conditions, hunger, and neglect. With no one to turn to, they often find themselves battling not just physical hunger but the emotional toll of being forgotten by society.

Daily Acts of Kindness

Every day, Rahul and his team serve meals twice a day to the homeless. For many, this is the only food they get. Each plate of food not only fills their stomachs but also brings a sense of dignity and hope to their lives. We work 365 days a year & had delivered over 65,000 free meals to homeless individuals till now & still working tirelessly for the needy people.

We also conducts food distribution drives outside government hospitals for poor patients & their care givers. Our goal is not only to provide immediate relief but also to foster long-term solutions by raising awareness about the root causes of homelessness and advocating for systemic change.

Growing Need, Limited Resources

As more people heard about Rahul’s work, the number of homeless people coming for food are increasing day by day. Now, the foundation feeds hundreds of people daily. But while the number of people in need of food keeps growing, the funds to support them are not enough to sustain. This makes it hard for Rahul to keep providing these meals.
